Malaysia Visa for Pakistani Citizens

Official sources give different answers for Pakistani passports on a social visit to Malaysia, so we confirm the right visa with you before you pay anything.

Check with us before you apply. Malaysia's official eVISA checker says ordinary passport holders from Pakistan need a Visa with Reference (VDR) for social visits, which needs a Malaysian sponsor to get a Visa Approval Letter first. The Malaysian High Commission in Islamabad says tourist eVISAs are applied for online. We check which route applies to you before you pay anything.

Do Pakistani citizens need a visa for Malaysia?

Yes, but the route is not clear.

We will not take your money until we have confirmed the right visa for your trip. Message our visa experts on WhatsApp and we will check it with you.

Every traveller also has to submit the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) within 3 days before arrival. Submit it only on the official site. Apax Gateway does not charge for arrival cards.

FAQs

Can I attend business meetings without a business visa?

For business meetings, Pakistani passport holders can apply online for Malaysia's eVISA Single Entry Visa with business as the purpose. Choose Business above to see that page.

Can I stay longer?

Ask our team first. We confirm the right visa for your trip, and the stay it gives you, before you apply.

Is the arrival card the same as the visa?

No. The Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) is a separate online form. Every traveller, including Pakistani passport holders, must submit it within 3 days before arriving in Malaysia, with or without a visa. Submit it only on the official site. Apax Gateway does not charge for arrival cards.

How early should I apply?

Message us as early as you can. If you need a Visa with Reference, your sponsor in Malaysia first has to get a Visa Approval Letter (eVAL) issued in Malaysia.

Can I apply myself?

Yes, you can apply yourself on Malaysia's official eVISA site, malaysiavisa.imi.gov.my. But the official eVISA checker says Pakistani ordinary passport holders need a Visa with Reference (VDR) for social visits, which needs a Malaysian sponsor to get a Visa Approval Letter first, while the Malaysian High Commission in Islamabad says tourist eVISAs are applied for online. Check with us or the High Commission before you apply. We do not take any payment until we have confirmed the right visa for your trip.
