FAQs

Can I attend business meetings without a business visa?

Thailand has not published whether the visa exemption covers business meetings. The agreement excludes living in Thailand, employment, study, media activities and activities that need prior approval. To be safe, choose Business above and apply for the Non-Immigrant B e-Visa.

Can I stay longer?

We could not confirm from official sources whether stays under the visa exemption can be extended. If you may need more than 30 days, apply for a Tourist Visa (TR), which allows up to 60 days.

Is the arrival card the same as the visa?

No. The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is a separate online form. All non-Thai travellers, including Chinese passport holders, must submit it within 3 days before arriving in Thailand, with or without a visa. Submit it only on the official site. Apax Gateway does not charge for arrival cards.

How early should I apply?

You do not need to apply for a visa for a trip of up to 30 days. Submit the TDAC within 3 days before you arrive.

Can I apply myself?

You do not need a visa for a trip of up to 30 days, so there is nothing to apply for and nothing to pay us. Submit the TDAC yourself on the official site. Apax Gateway does not charge for arrival cards.
